Several Galaxy Alliance SC teams finished in first place or right up near the top of their brackets at the close of 2008 Coast Soccer League play.  These Galaxy Alliance teams placed first through fourth in their respective Coast Soccer League brackets:

     The Boys Under 11 Galaxy B97 finished their season alone in first place in the BU11 Bronze Delta bracket. The Galaxy B97 earned their champion medals with a smashing 12-2-0 season record. The team is coached by Mark Shanley, John Collazos and Abel Lezcano.

     The Galaxy Alliance 96 completed their BU12 Bronze West play in second place with a very solid 10-3-1 record. The Galaxy Alliance 96 team is coached by Jose Luiz Sobrinho.  Within this very same BU12 Bronze West bracket, the Galaxy Alliance 96 Blue finished in fourth place with a 5-4-4 record.  The Blue are trained and coached by Trevor Stiles.

     In Girls Under 12 Coast Soccer action, the Galaxy Blackouts finished up very strong with a 8-3-2 record! This gave the team third place in the GU12 Bronze Central bracket.  The Blackouts are ably coached by Lasan Darboe and Manuel Coronado.

     The Galaxy Alliance Soccer Club was very well represented within the Girls Under 13 Bronze West bracket this past season.  Finishing all by themselves in first place were the Galaxy Devil Cats with an impressive 11-1-2 record.  The Devil Cats are trained and coached by Christian Chambers and Humberto Benitez.  The Galaxy Wildcats came on strong during their league season play and wound up with a 6-6-1 record giving these ‘cats fourth place in the GU13 Bronze West bracket. The Wildcats are coached by Peter Meyer and Angel Vasquez.

     The GU14 Galaxy Force finished a brilliant Silver West season in sole possession of second place with a fabulous 9-4-1 record. The Force are also coached by Angel Vasquez and Peter Meyer.

     In Boys Under 14 Silver North action, the Galaxy Vapor went 9-2-3 playing against solid and sometimes distant competition to their north. The Vapor team earned sole possession of first place this season. The Vapor are enjoying their third year of club play under Coach Christian Chambers.

     There were several other impressive results from our GASC teams in their Coast Soccer League play this season.  The BU14 Galaxy Titans, coached this season by Lasan Darboe, finished their second season of club soccer play with a 6-6-2 record in their extremely competitive Bronze West bracket. The Galaxy Banditz, playing in a tough BU15 Silver Elite North bracket, completed their season with a very solid 4-4-3 record.  The Banditz are coached by Beto dos Santos and Alex Gansa. The mighty Galaxy Rattlers always came to play and wound up their season with 6-4-1 winning record in the BU18 Gold bracket. The Rattlers are coached by Tim Pierce and Terry Mitchell.

     We congratulate these Galaxy Alliance teams and we congratulate all of the other Galaxy Alliance Soccer Club teams who played their hearts out and ran their butts off in Coast Soccer League action this past season. We salute the players and coaches of the BU14 United, the GU15 United 94, the GU19 Fusion, the BU17 Pythons, the BU16 Cobras and our soccer club’s only Premier bracket team, the BU16 Galaxy B92.
