MARK TWAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL
Mark Twain Middle School is one of Galaxy Alliance’s primary “home fields” for CSL league play and most scrimmages. It is located at: Mark Twain Middle School Driving Directions: Venice Blvd. to Walgrove Avenue - head north. Turn east (right) on Lucille Avenue. Field is on left. Enter field area through gate on Lucille in middle of block between Maplewood and Rosewood. All cars should enter through the Lucille Ave. gate and park on the blacktop next to the field (the Victoria Ave. gate will be locked). Please park in an orderly manner.
The Neighborhood: We need to be sensitive to those who live in the streets surrounding the field. We should be positive and considerate in our behavior. Drive carefully and within the speed limit. Don’t leave trash on the street. We need to watch our volume and our language.
Trash: Please do not overload the trash bins: take your trash with you when you leave.
Field Rules: Mark Twain MS is a Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) operated facility, and all LAUSD rules apply. For instance, no dogs are allowed in the field area.
Permit Hours: Saturday 9:00am-5pm, Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm. Do not arrive at the field prior the permit start time, and under no circumstances climb the fence if gate is locked.
Restrooms: are located inside the gymnasium building across the blacktop to the west of the field. Restrooms are in the hallway on the north side of the gym.
