2012 NEW TEAM FORMATIONS & TRYOUTS

Galaxy Alliance is pleased to annouce the formation for four new teams for the 2012-13 season:

Galaxy B03 Black  (U09 1st team, for 8 year old boys born on or after August 1, 2003)
Galaxy B03 White (U09 2nd team, for 8 year old boys born on or after August 1, 2003)
Galaxy B02 White (U10 2nd team, for 9 year old boys born on or after August 1, 2002)
Galaxy B01 White (U11 2nd team, for 10 year old boys born on or after August 1, 2001)

GALAXY B99 BLACK WINS 2012 COPA REAL

Beto Dos Santos's B99 Black team became the 2012 Copa Real Tournament B12 Champions, defeating Santa Barbara Blue 5-0 in the finals on January 15.  Congratulations to Beto and the boys.

GALAXY ALLIANCE PLAYERS IN THE NEWS

These current and former Galaxy Aliance players have recently made noteworthy acheivements:

• Haji Wright of the Galaxy B97 Black team has been invited to train with the U.S. U-14 Men's National Team at their Carson, CA domestic training camp in March 2012. A huge congratulations to Haji, B97 coach Chendo Gonzalez and B97 manager Mark Shanley for this outstanding achievement.

• Galaxy B97 Black players Elmer (Jr.) Guerra (B97), Jose Cano (B97), Jackson Schierbeek (B97), Haji Wright (B98), Giovanne Lobo (B98) and Hanif Wright (B99) have been invited to the USSF training center for consideration by U.S. national team scouts.
  

• Former Galaxy Alliance B92 defender Javan Torre has been selected for the 2011-12 United States U18 National Team, and is playing for the LA Galaxy reserve team.
  

• Former Galaxy B92 "Banditz" goalkeeper Jake Tenzer has been recruited to play for UCLA this coming 2011-12 season.
  

• Galaxy B97 White player Aminata Kalokoh has been selected to the G98 Olympic Development Program (ODP) girls team 2011 Regional Pool.
  

• Former Galaxy Alliance B92 midfielder/attacker Mariano Guerineau has been signed to play at Penn.  While at Galaxy Alliance, Mariano was selected to the Addidas Top 100 soccer camp.
  

• Seven Galaxy B97 Black players have been selected for the 2011 ODP summer pool: Dylan Arrazati (B98), Erick (Alan) Gallinar (B98), Elmer (jr) Guerra (B97), David Onofre (B98), Jackson Schierbeek (B97), Haji Wright (B98), Hanif Wright (B99).
