Lasan Seni Darboe was born in the Gambia, West Africa. At the age of seventeen, Lasan moved to London, England, where he played both soccer and track & field professionally for six years.
Lasan thereafter moved to Los Angeles, California where he has successfully made a career in our area coaching soccer, track & field, and cross country. Lasan is very proud of all the athletes he has had the privilege of coaching within the Galaxy Alliance Soccer Club. Lasan also serves as the head coach of track & field and cross country coach at Marymount High School.
Lasan has had two poetry books published to date. He is very proud of his latest children's book (a must read selection) entitled "True colors of the chameleon".
