Patrck Seymour
GOALKEEPING COACH
The Northern California native has quickly climbed to the top of the goalkeeper coaching ranks. As a youth player growing up in the San Francisco bay area, he played in 3 National Cup finals and was a member of the Cal-North ODP state pool from 1994-1997. From 1997-99 Seymour minded the nets for the Chico State Wildcats, and during his senior season helped lead them to a 19th national ranking but came up short advancing further in the NCAA tournament.
In 2000, after completing his collegiate playing career where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, Seymour moved south and accepted a coaching position at Santa Monica College where he also serves as an associate professor in the kinesiology department. Along with his teaching duties at Santa Monica College, Patrick is also the Goalkeeper coach for the UCLA Bruins men’s program.
Patrick has also been heavily involved with the local club scene and was the head goalkeeper coach for both the Westside Breakers and Santa Clarita United and has also worked with Santa Monica United and now the Galaxy Alliance Soccer Club. Seymour is also fortunate enough to be the head goalkeeper and staff coach for the prestige’s Cal-South ODP program where in 9 years he has trained and helped develop over two dozen youth national and regional team members, and is a three time national champion. In addition he also serves on the goalkeeping staff for the Region IV ODP program. Patrick holds both a USSF national and goalkeeping national license and holds a master’s degree in exercise science.
